Hey gang, let's revisit a stat I created last year, pitching power ratio. The concept is rather simple, reward pitchers for striking out batters and for keeping the ball down. The formula is (strikeouts + (groundouts / 3)  (air outs / 3)) / innings pitched. If you keep hitters from putting the ball in the air, you'll reduce the number of extra-base hits you allow, especially home runs.
