Friday, July 27, 2007 NEW YORK -- The New York Mets activated outfielder Moises Alou from the disabled list Friday night and had him in the starting lineup, playing left field and batting fifth against the Washington Nationals. Alou, signed as a free agent last winter, was batting .318 in 30 games when he went on the DL on May 17 with a strained left quad. He missed 66 games.
