Thursday, July 19, 2007 AMERSFOORT, Netherlands -- Carlos Moya reached the quarterfinals of the Dutch Open on Thursday, beating Mariano Zabaleta of Argentina 6-2, 6-3 in the second round. The third-seeded Spaniard, playing on his favored clay surface, broke Zabaleta twice in the first set and once in the second. Belgian qualifier Steve Darcis defeated Simon Gilles of France 7-6 (4), 6-1, and Igor Andreev of Russia rallied to knock out fourth-seeded Filippo Volandri of Italy 3-6, 6-1, 6-4.
