PALERMO, Sicily -- Second-seeded Martina Muller of Germany beat Slovenian qualifier Andreja Klepac 6-2, 6-1 in the first round of the Palermo International on Tuesday. Muller will next play Conchita Martinez Granados of Spain, who defeated Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark 6-3, 6-3.
