Rush turn up defense to stop Avengers in playoff game

CHICAGO -- The Rush did the unusual in an Arena League game, shutting out the Los Angeles Avengers in the second half on the way to a 52-20 divisional playoff victory on Monday. Chicago (12-4) moves on to an American Conference title game against the San Jose SaberCats (13-4) on Saturday.
