Saturday, July 7, 2007 Over 700 players showed up for the $1,000 SHOE event, and Dao Bac, in his fifth WSOP cash, came away with his first victory and gold bracelet. The 51-year-old professional poker player from California read from a book throughout the entire final table. Bac noted that the writings kept him collected and enabled him to win his first bracelet.
