Sunday, June 10, 2007 RALEIGH, N.C. -- Kyle Thompson won for the first time in 120 starts on the Nationwide Tour with his victory at the Rex Hospital Open. The 28-year-old former University of South Carolina player shot a 1-under 70 on Sunday to edge Bob Burns by two strokes. Thompson posted a 16-under 268 to earn $81,000.
