And in the United States it may continue to suffer the embarrassment of being pre-empted for stuff like horse-racing pregame shows. But it's on its way back -- and in a big way. On Monday, the Stanley Cup finals between Anaheim and Ottawa begin, and Monday was declared a national holiday. Pretty impressive, eh? No other sport can claim that.
