Rich Harden has been on the disabled list repeatedly the last three seasons, and so, too, has Bobby Crosby. Mark Kotsay has had recurring back problems, Justin Duchscherer has been down, and Mark Ellis has missed months, rather than just days. The rash of injuries experienced by the Oakland Athletics early this season was really nothing new to them. Harden out again with shoulder irritation? No big deal. Kotsay on the DL after having back surgery? No problem. Milton Bradley sidelined? OK, what ... Activate your ESPN Profile!
