A daily glance inside the numbers from the world of sports: MLB Bonds • Barry Bonds hit career home run No. 745 off Tom Glavine Tuesday night. Bonds had not gone deep against Glavine in his previous 32 at bats. Only one active pitcher had a longer current homerless streak against Bonds: Greg Maddux (no home runs allowed to Bonds in his last 33 at bats).
