On Sunday afternoon, the Presidents' Trophy-winning Buffalo Sabres did just that with their wildly exciting 5-4 series clinching victory over the never-say-die New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden. They survived. "It's a big relief any time you can win a playoff series," Sabres co-captain Daniel Briere said. "It's not easy." Evidently, Sabres head coach Lindy Ruff agreed. ...
