In the aftermath of the announcement that Josh Hancock was drunk when he was killed, the Cardinals issued a ban on alcohol in their home clubhouse; alcohol is available in the visiting clubhouse at Busch Stadium. Major League Baseball sent out a league-wide e-mail on Wednesday, according to a high-ranking club official, to survey teams on their clubhouse alcohol policy.
