A daily glance inside the numbers from the world of sports: NHL • The Rangers beat the Thrashers 7-0 on Tuesday night in the most lopsided playoff shutout in almost five years, since Detroit beat Colorado 7-0 in Game 7 of the 2002 Western Conference finals.
