Kimbell shoots Sunday 69, wins South Georgia Classic

VALDOSTA, Ga. -- Long-hitting John Kimbell won the inaugural South Georgia Classic for his first Nationwide Tour victory, closing with a 3-under 69 in high wind Sunday for a one-stroke victory over Australia's Matthew Jones. The 38-year-old Kimbell had a 10-under 278 total at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club, the longest course in Nationwide Tour history at 7,781 yards.
