EXPN.com Monday, March 19, 2007 Until this weekend, I forgot what it was like to be spoiled by snowboarding. Growing up near Berthoud Pass, Colorado, the good days came so easily and so frequently. Up at 8, first chair at 8:30, ride in a foot of powder, at work by 4, repeat as necessary. Until this weekend, had anyone asked me what snowboarding in the East was like, I would have balked, braced myself with another cocktail and said, "West is best, son," without hesitation.
