FAIRFIELD, Conn. (AP) -- Drew Shubik scored 22 points as Sacred Heart defeated Quinnipiac University, 87-84, Monday to secure the No. 2 seed in the Northeast Conference tournament. The victory also assured Sacred Heart (16-13, 12-6) of its first winning season since moving to Division I in 1999-2000. Adam Gonzalez led Quinnipiac (13-14, 11-7) with a career-high 37 points.
