Tuesday, February 20, 2007 DUBAI, United Arab Emirates -- Fifth-seeded Jelena Jankovic of Serbia beat Aravane Rezai of France 6-1, 6-2 on Tuesday to advance to the second round of the Dubai Open. Rezai hit some impressive winners against Jankovic but was let down by a weak first serve and unforced errors. Eighth-seeded Daniela Hantuchova of Slovakia also advanced, beating Elena Vesnina of Russia 6-1, 6-3. Hantuchova, who dropped only one point on her serve in the first set, raced to a 5-1 lead.
