ESPN.com Tuesday, February 20, 2007 IOWA CITY, Iowa -- For four seasons under coach Kirk Ferentz, Iowa football had been the Little Engine That Did. From 2002 to 2005, the Hawkeyes shared two Big Ten championships, won 25 conference games and played in four January bowl games. It wasn't just that Iowa did it. It was how the Hawkeyes did it, with a cast of walk-ons and barely-recruiteds whom Ferentz and his staff took from the bottom of the conference to the top.
