ESPN.com Saturday, February 17, 2007 DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- David Gilliland was at a small race shop outside of Charlotte, N.C., his fingers dirty with oil and grease as he worked under the hood of a Busch Series car. In the background he could hear the television broadcast of the Daytona 500.
