It's impossible to ignore an all-star game. And not just because of the break in the action in the middle of a season. There's all the unavoidable chatter about where the game is going to be, where it's going to be next, who made the team, who should have made the team, who is going to be in the (insert skill competition here), who backed out with an "injury" … the list goes on and on.
