HAMDEN, Conn. (AP) -- DeMario Anderson scored 31 points and Quinnipiac moved into second place in the Northeast Conference Thursday with a 79-75 win over Sacred Heart. Anderson hit 11-of-13 shots for the Bobcats (11-11, 9-4 NEC), who have won nine of their last 10 games. Adam Gonzalez added 20 points and four assists while Dale Meinbresse scored nine points with five rebounds off the bench. Quinnipiac shot 54 percent from the floor.
