Florida heads into signing day at No. 1

As national signing day and the end of a long recruiting season looms, USC has verbal commitments from eight prospects rated in the top five at their positions, and Notre Dame has seven. Texas secured enough commitments by the beginning of the summer to warrant a high ranking, and the late addition of ESPN 150 S Christian Scott (Dallas/Skyline) has solidified the Longhorns' class among the top five.
