More cons than pros for early signing period

National signing day is almost here! Time to squeeze in a few more questions. Dan in Sarasota, Fla.: Hi Craig! Is anybody else sick of this idea of verbal commitments meaning just about zero? Seems like the kids who "commit" are still taking visits because they are still being recruited. Arrelious Benn, the wide receiver said even though he committed in November, he was still being recruited hard by a number of colleges. Early signing date in the fall would help with this nonsense wouldn't it? ...
