Competition will always spark evolution, but aerial history in the Winter X superpipe has gone from hot air balloons to F-16's in just a few short years. Each January, fresh meat and aged-prime riders alike are thrown onto the Buttermilk fire, and every year, the flavors they bring to the table can make the most jaded of palettes drool for seconds.
