A daily glance inside the numbers from the world of sports: NFL • The Miami Dolphins averaged only 16.3 points per game in 2006, ranking 29th in the league, and it was their lowest average since 1967, the second season in franchise history, when the team scored 15.6 points per game. That was Bob Griese's rookie season and Miami finished with a 4-10 record under head coach George Wilson.
