ESPN.com Thursday, January 18, 2007 Valdosta State coach Chris Hatcher will be introduced Thursday as the next head coach at Division I-AA Georgia Southern, sources said. Hatcher has a 76-12 record in seven seasons at Valdosta State (Georgia) and led the team to the 2004 Division II national championship. He also coached Daunte Culpepper at Central Florida and Tim Couch at Kentucky as an assistant. Hatcher interviewed at Georgia Southern in 2005 before former coach Brian Van Gorder was hired.
