I watched a very strange game Thursday night at Madison Square Garden. Really, it was two different games. One game was played over the first 42 minutes. The Senators hammered the woeful-looking Rangers, 5-0. The visitors were so dominant, I considered leaving after two periods. As it turned out, I'm glad I didn't. Over the next 17-plus minutes, a suddenly revived New York squad outscored an on-its-heels Ottawa team, 4-0. Senators coach Bryan Murray seemed to be doing a slow burn on the bench. ...
