Fifty years ago, a handful of men formed the Inland Empire Fly Fishing Club to mix camaraderie and education with the work of improving the stature of fly fishing throughout the region. That much has never changed. In the 1950s, club members could fill gas tanks for fishing excursions at around 25 cents a gallon.
