Tuesday, January 2, 2007 AUCKLAND, New Zealand -- Top-seeded Jelena Jankovic of Serbia shrugged off jet lag to defeat Julia Schruff of Germany 6-3, 6-4 Tuesday at the ASB Women's Tennis Classic. Jankovic, who arrived Monday after missing a flight connection, used a strong first serve in the first set to keep Schruff at bay. In the second set, Jankovic clinched the match by hitting four aces on vital points. Third-seeded Daniel Hantuchova of Slovakia beat unseeded countrywoman Dominika Cibulkova 6-1, 3-6, 6-2 ...
