Fishing fans come from all walks of a life. Case in point: a visitor to the final-day weigh-in at last week's Bassmaster Elite 50 event in Columbus, Miss. Tom Hamill was a little-known truck driver until he was kidnapped by insurgents April 9 in Iraq and made a dramatic escape three weeks later.
