Wednesday, December 20, 2006 KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Kansas City Royals and relief pitcher David Riske agreed to a one-year contract Wednesday. Riske split last season between the Chicago White Sox and Boston Red Sox, going 1-2 with a 3.89 ERA in 41 appearances. The 30-year-old right-hander is 18-14 with 16 saves and a 3.59 ERA in 328 career games spanning seven major league seasons, his first six with Cleveland.
