In the movie "Murder In The First," I was fortunate enough to play Kevin Bacon's escort guard on Alcatraz. One chilly February morning, riding the ferry over to Alcatraz Island from Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco, I spotted a man on board with a hooded red-tail hawk sitting on his arm.
