LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) -- Freshman Kelly Kohn hit five three-pointers and had a career high 19 points as Kansas ended a three-game losing streak by defeating visiting Santa Clara 78-68 on Sunday. It was the seventh game in a row that a freshman has led Kansas (5-4) in scoring and the fifth game in double-figures for Kohn, who went 6-for-9 from the field and also pulled down a team-high five rebounds.
