LEXINGTON, Va. (AP) -- Matt Murrer scored 32 points and VMI closed the game on a 14-2 run for a 99-87 victory over South Carolina State on Monday night. The game was tied at 85 with 3:46 to play, but the Keydets (5-8) took advantage of some key turnovers by the Bulldogs for the game-closing run. The Keydets, the leading scoring team in the nation at 102 points per game, scored 43 points off turnovers, offsetting 39 percent shooting.
