Women's World Cup races at Val d'Isere canceled

VAL D'ISERE, France -- Downhill and super-G races scheduled for Dec. 16-17 on the women's World Cup circuit were canceled Saturday because of lack of snow and warm weather. The International Ski Federation said on its Web site the course was declared unfit after inspection Saturday. A possible replacement site could be decided Monday.
