ESPN Insider Friday, October 27, 2006 The 2006 World Series is a mismatch. I believed it last week, I believed it yesterday and I believe it today. Which isn't to say I'm all that surprised by the results thus far. The biggest mismatch in World Series history arguably was in 1906, when the 116-win Cubs faced the White Sox. The Sox won in six games. In 1990, the dynastic A's played the upstart Reds ... and got swept.
