Defending champ Petrova advances in Generali Ladies

LINZ, Austria -- Defending champion Nadia Petrova cruised past Shahar Peer of Israel 6-1, 6-1 Wednesday in the second round of the Generali Ladies. The second-seeded Russian had seven aces and didn't allow a break point. She broke Peer five times.
