Minnesota reassigns RW Foy, C Smith to AHL squad

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Minnesota Wild said Sunday that the team has reassigned right wing Matt Foy and center Wyatt Smith to the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League. Foy, 23, appeared in two games with Minnesota, recording two penalty minutes and one shot on goal as he averaged 7:28 of ice time. Smith, 29, skated in three Wild games, making three shots and averaging 7:35 of ice time. Both players originally were recalled by Minnesota last Wednesday.
