Special to ESPN.com Wednesday, October 4, 2006 Isaiah Stanback a Trojan? That was a possibility for Washington's quarterback coming out of Garfield High School in Seattle. USC coach Pete Carroll, however, wanted Stanback to sign as "an athlete," while Stanback wanted guarantees he would be a quarterback. "He is an incredible athlete who has become a terrific quarterback," Carroll said. "I wish we could have gotten him."
