Special to ESPN.com Tuesday, October 3, 2006 Now that the first month of the season is behind us, three story lines emerged heading into the first weekend of October. 1. The improved Big East: The much-maligned Big East is a better conference this year, top to bottom. After No. 4 West Virginia and No. 8 Louisville, the conference has Rutgers (5-0).
