No. 1 versus No. 2 didn't quite live up to the hype. The pregame did, though. Along with the game between the same two teams in Columbus last year (something about this matchup apparently brings out the best in fans), the scene in Austin, Texas, on Saturday was the best I've experienced in my six years of road shows for "College GameDay" on ESPN Radio.
