The Capitals continued their rebuilding project over the summer. Clearly, they're trying to build a team around Calder Trophy-winning rookie Alexander Ovechkin. Hey, you'd have to be pretty foolish not to build around the super-talented Russian star. GM George McPhee added a few veteran players to the mix through free agency and a trade.
