Not a great opener last week, going 7-8-1. The quick recap: The good: Hawaii sticking with Alabama. The bad: Georgia Tech sticking with Notre Dame. The ugly: Tennessee blowing Cal out of Knoxville. This week's hunches: Thursday, Sept. 7 Boise State 31, Oregon State 27: Yvenson Bernard and Joe Newton are a handful for any defense and they have me thinking big upset, but I'm sticking with the home team on the Thursday night stage coming through.
