Special to ESPN.com Wednesday, August 30, 2006 When it comes to sports, I'm a numbers guy. But, I'm a numbers guy with an asterisk. Next to the asterisk would read something along the lines of: "numbers must actually tell you something." We get inundated with numbers at ESPN. Stuff like: "Texas is 29-0 all-time in games in which it scores more than 60 points." Great. It's accurate, but it tells me absolutely nothing. Find me a team that doesn't win when it scores 60, and then you might be onto something. And yet, in my job as a studio hos ... Activate your ESPN Profile!
