Nobody likes to deal with injuries during preseason (or anytime, for that matter). Some teams seem to get through the preseason relatively injury free, while other teams seem to get bitten harder and in worse places. Veterans who get nagging injuries deal with it better than rookies or second-year players, but it's the young players who need the practice time as well as game action in the preseason.
