Two ex-Central Michigan players sentenced to jail

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- Two former Central Michigan football players who pleaded no contest to attempted assault with a dangerous weapon in the beating death of a man outside a bar were sentenced to jail Monday. Jerry Seymour was sentenced to six months in jail, with one month suspended if he successfully completes five years of probation.
