Carr welcoming criticism, tough love

HOUSTON -- David Carr was the Houston Texans' first draft choice, the No. 1 overall pick in 2002. He's been the franchise player ever since. But only now is he truly becoming part of the team. Carr was just a bit too cozy with the former regime. He never got comfortable on game day, becoming the most sacked quarterback (208) in the league since he joined it, but under Dom Capers' watch, Carr admittedly probably was more coddled than coached.
