ESPN Insider Tuesday, July 11, 2006 Lawyers for the league and the players' association had been working nearly around the clock for the past week counting revenues in order to calculate this year's salary cap. NBA teams received word late Tuesday on the new numbers. The 2006-07 salary cap will be set at $53.135 million, an increase of $3.6 million from last season.
