Tuesday, July 11, 2006 BOSTON -- Boston Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli made his first roster move in his new job on Tuesday, signing Boston College left wing and Hobey Baker finalist Chris Collins. The 22-year-old Collins led Hockey East in scoring and tied with Minnesota's Ryan Potulny in the national scoring race with 63 points (34 goals and 29 assists).
