Monday, July 10, 2006 SAN JOSE, Calif. -- The San Jose Sharks on Monday signed veteran defenseman Patrick Traverse to a one-year contract. Financial terms were not disclosed. Traverse spent the majority of last season with the Iowa Stars of the American Hockey League, recording three goals and 21 assists in 40 games. He appeared in just one game with the Dallas Stars.
